These are exciting times for Leisure Services in Wiltshire within our 10 centres we have new facilities, a rapidly expanding customer base and a real vision to make a difference to the health of the population through increased physical activity delivered by a diverse team of sport and physical activity specialists.

Our Vision

In order for our vision to be achieved, we have split our roles and areas of work into three specialisms; Aquatics, Fitness and Leisure Centre Operations.

Aquatics

Will manage the swim school delivery team as well as being the key driver of the pool programmes to optimise use in all sessions.

Fitness

Will manage both staff and customers in the fitness areas of the facility. Key focus will be on the group X programme and on standard delivery of the fitness customer journey through the team of fitness staff.

Leisure Centre Operations

Responsibilities include ensuring the operational delivery of other leisure centre services including a range of children’s activities, café, crèche and coached activity staff, as well as ensuring that use of the leisure facilities are maximised.

You will also be a health and safety lead by ensuring safe working practices are both high priority and consistent across leisure centres within a cluster.

Each cluster group will have three managers who will work across the sites and will cover leisure centre operating hours in order to ensure the business needs can be met.
